Vision Bristol Media
Vision Bristol the Creative Hub
This week we worked with Bristol Media to sponsor Vision Bristol the creative event full of inspiring speakers that aim to challenge your way of thinking giving you an insight to their work ethics and ideas.
Eighteen speakers took the stage including the Vision panel – Kevin Chesters, Chief Strategy Officer at Ogilvy London, Clare Phillips who joined ITV in June 2013 to head up Brand Planning, Bogdana Butnar, Head of Strategy at Poke and James Caig, Head of Strategy at True Digital in Bristol. Their key focus was transformational thinking.
James led the discussion and shared some of CSA’s campaign entrants. Displaying media with each having a different objective.
With the average lifespan of businesses getting shorter and competition in the industry so vast, the overall message was the importance of a business and a creative thinker being able to show adaptability. A fantastic example was the Barbie campaign – You can be anything. A compelling ad to encourage girls to believe they can become anything and to move away from the body image and the superficiality of 20th century Barbie.
The panel debated the characteristics of transformational thinking, the themes that emerged from this year’s winners, and shared techniques that any brand can utilize to move outside the conventions of its competition.
As a sponsor of the event we wanted to encourage creativity and offered the chance to win a brand new IPAD PRO, to enter all you had to do was draw a picture using the IPAD, which we then tweeted and the winner was the one with the most RT’s. You can check out our winner and entrants by heading over to our Twitter page.
