The Agency Works is based in Leicestershire and have been implementing Synergist for creative agencies and consultancies for over a decade. With a wealth of knowledge in accounting and project management systems, we understand agencies needs in the creative sectors. We work with you at every stage of the process to understand your business’ needs, to the installation and training of new users. We have a dedicated Client Services team who will ensure that your management system continues to run smoothly for your business after it has been implemented.
Our relationship with Synergist
We are Synergist’s exclusive UK partner, working together to deliver a project management system that works for your business. Together we have helped hundreds of clients to increase profitability and improve efficiency in the UK, Middle East and Australia. As part of our services, the Synergist team are on hand to help with any technical enquiries and support alongside our Client Services team.
Jason began his career in finance before joining the team at Synergist. After ten years of implementing management information systems, he went into partnership with colleague Steve and founded The Agency Works. Jason is also the MD of The Business Marketing Club.
Outside of business, Jason is a triathlete having competed in the Iron Man Triathlons over the past few years and is the frontman in his band.
Steve became a partner of The Agency Works in 2003 following his role in Business Development for Synergist. Steve has a wealth of experience within the creative sector, specialising in training, implementation and business process management.
Steve enjoys playing football and golf and plays for Stockport Georgians Cricket Club. He enjoys spending time with the family, watching all sports and films but more than often needs to wrestle the remote off the kids before he can!
Louise’s original career as a Secondary School Teacher has stood her in good stead for training users on Synergist. After living in London for 10 years she now has two children. The plan to ‘escape to the Country’ has proved to be a good move and now finds herself engrossed in Village life!
Kate is a busy mum of 2 with limited spare time which doesn’t involve playing taxi! However, she is actively involved with the school PTA fund raising committee where she's currently organising the schools annual dinner dance. Kate is also a qualified preschool teacher and regularly help out at a local preschool.
Kate loves her kindle, dining out "as I’m a rubbish cook – which J will voucher for" says Kate and drinking cocktails.
Karen works as part of the client services team having previously worked for two years in the projects team. She has a varied background completing a physiology degree at Kings’ College, University of London before starting work as an accountant and then coming to work for The Agency Works. Karen is currently studying towards an MBA which means if you can’t find her at work or Twickenham watching the Rugby, she is likely to have her head in a management book of some sort.
Carol has worked in finance for the past 30 years – both in private practice and within the manufacturing, franchise and distribution industries. Carol has experience in HR, H&S and all matters financial.
Outside the office Carol is a mum to three girls – mostly providing a taxi service, general cleaning service and a 24 hour laundromat.
Carol loves things that go too fast, sunny days, meeting new people and socialising, but hates brushing her hair!
With a wealth of experience in delivering training and consultancy, Rich forms part of our new business team at The Agency Works.
A business management apprenticeship paved the way to a career which has seen him build a sound knowledge in accountancy, IT and business improvement. Seeing the resulting effects of what he does is what really motivates him.
Spending time with friends and family whilst remaining an unsigned musical talent and an undiscovered football genius, take up most of Rich's spare time!

Anna graduated with a BA (Hons) in Accountancy and went on to work in Accountancy Practices and implementing and training on Sage systems. Anna first joined The Agency Works back in 2008 as a Project Manager and continues in that role to the present day.
Outside of work she enjoys extreme sports including skydiving and wing walking. Anna also took part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht race in 2011/12 and sailed from Rio de Janeiro to Cape Town and then San Francisco to Panama and then up to New York!
Chris started his career in financial services sales before making the switch to software sales. Day to day, Chris is responsible for introducing Synergist to potential new clients and giving them an overview of the benefits of Synergist. When not at work Chris will usually be found at the stables helping his daughter look after her two horses which for some, as yet unexplained reason seems to have to be done at the crack of dawn!
Since moving to The Agency works in late 2014, Tom has developed in his role and become part of our project management team. In his spare time he enjoys nothing better than binge watching new series on Netflix, spending some time with the kids or popping into the local for a quiet beer!
Farzana recently graduated as a mature student with a Project Management degree. Prior to this she has worked on projects for BSkyB and Virgin Media. What she enjoys most about project management is the variety of roles and the type of environments she is exposed to.
Outside of work Farzana is a mother of 2 children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also loves travelling and soaking up local culture.
Stacey's role at The Agency Works is to deliver training on the Synergist software and to support our clients through their implementation process. She finds her role exciting and varied with plenty of opportunity to meet new people on a daily basis.
Having previously had a career in project planning, Stacey has been exposed to a great deal of MIS & scheduling systems which compliments her role.

Laura graduated from the Arts University in Bournemouth with a degree in Graphic Design and went on to work for an online gift retailer before joining the Marketing Team here at The Agency Works. Laura has recently completed her CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing.
Outside of work she enjoys seeing live bands, socialising with friends (including the furry one; aka the dog) and loves holidaying abroad. Also partial to a Costa Caffé Latte with hazelnut syrup!
Frankie began her career in Business Development with The Agency Works in 2015.
Since then, she has been supporting the new business team by demonstrating what The Agency Works can offer to agencies. This includes showing them how we can help them to improve the efficiency and profitability of their business.
Outside of work, she can be found in a muddy field walking her dog or cooking up some weird and wonderful meals.
After completing his A levels, Jordan began studying AAT Level 3 at South Leicester College, while also starting his career here at The Agency Works Team Ltd. After completing his AAT, Jordan hopes to study CIMA – Chartered Institute of Management Accountants while also developing his knowledge and understanding of Synergist.
When Jordan is not working you can find him at the football watching LCFC of which he has had a season ticket for 5 Years. Jordan is also partial to a couple of pints in the local pub with his mates.
Charlie first began his career as a Business Development Executive working for a Design agency in Birmingham after finishing his A-Levels exams in Physical Education and Psychology. This experience working within a creative agency has gained him a wealth of knowledge in how an efficient agency should and is powered.
Outside of work Charlie is a keen rugby player and Crossfit Athlete, he plays for Lutterworth 1st XV and has competed in several Crossfit competition. Whilst fitness is a big part of Charlie’s life, he is often found on a Saturday nursing a couple pints of Doombar after a hard game of egg-chasing.
